- 1 Latitude Reward is equal to $1 value. No points conversion is needed.
- Spend from an additional cardholder counts towards your total spend.
- Your account must be open and not in default of the credit contract when the Latitude Rewards are issued.
- You can use your Latitude Rewards balance via the Latitude App or Latitude Service Centre to:
- Redeem eGift Cards or eVouchers from a wide range of participating retailers, restaurants and cinemas. Value typically starts from $10, with higher values available.
- Pay for an item via the eStore.
- You can also earn cashback in Latitude Rewards via the Merchant Offers tab.
Note: Rewards cannot be converted to cash. Latitude Rewards expire 18 months from the date they are issued.
How to earn Latitude Rewards
To earn 3% back in Latitude Rewards on eligible recurring payments, you must set up your recurring payment directly with the provider using your Latitude Low Rate Mastercard.
Eligible purchases are transactions that are setup as recurring payments under the following merchant categories codes (MCC):
- Utilities (Electricity, Gas, Water) - 4900
- Telco Services – 4812 and 4814
- Streaming Services – 4899, 5735, and 5815
Card transactions are assigned a Merchant Category Code (MCC) which is a classification standard used by card networks (e.g. Visa or Mastercard) in processing transactions. We are not responsible and have no control over designating these assignments.
You won’t earn rewards if you use an intermediary platform such as PayPal or Google. Eligible transactions do not include cash advances, cash equivalent transactions, card fees or charges, credits, refunds, reimbursements, account protection insurance premiums, adjustments resulting from disputed transactions, interest and balance transfers into an account.
Do international subscriptions (e.g. Netflix in another country) count?
No. Only Australian-based streaming subscriptions using the correct MCC will qualify.
What happens when I close my account?
If you have a Latitude Rewards balance in your account at the point of account closure, you have 30 days to redeem the remaining Latitude Rewards before they are forfeited.
