Your Latitude credit card (Mastercard® or Visa) can be used globally, wherever your card type is accepted – including in-store, online and at ATMs.
Withdrawing Cash from an ATM
You can withdraw cash using your credit card, but fees may apply depending on the ATM you use:
- Westpac ATMs: No withdrawal fees.
- Other ATMs: Fees apply - you’ll see the fee amount before confirming the transaction.
Cash Advance & Fees
- Cash withdrawals, cryptocurrency purchases, and money exchange transactions are treated as cash advances.
- No interest-free period applies on these transactions.
- Interest applies from the date of the withdrawal.
What to Do if Your Transaction is Declined
If your card transaction is declined, there are a few things you can check before contacting us:
- Card details: It’s always worth checking that you have entered the card number, expiry date and CVC correctly.
- Card activation: If you’re using your card for the first time, it might not be activated. Learn how to activate your card.
- Card lock: Your card (or a previous one) may be locked in the Latitude App. Check how to unlock it here.
- Available credit: You may not have enough available credit. Check your balance in the Latitude App.
- Missed payments: If you’ve missed your minimum monthly repayment, some features of your card may be restricted.
