This article relates to the Latitude GO Mastercard and Latitude Gem Visa credit cards. These credit cards have a monthly credit card fee that is currently $10.95.
How to set up the 6 Months Interest Free
- Spend $250 or more on general purchases in a single transaction using your Latitude Gem Visa credit card or Latitude GO Platinum Mastercard credit card.
- Wait for the transaction to post. Login via the Latitude App or Latitude Service Centre and click on your card to view the account details.
- Under the Transactions tab or via My Plan, if you are eligible, you’ll see the Enjoy 6 months Interest Free banner. Click Create a plan. You must select your purchase within 30 days of the purchase date.
- Continue with the 2-step process to create an Interest Free payment plan.
- You’ll need to repeat these steps each time you want to add a new eligible purchase to a plan.
- If you add multiple eligible purchases in the same statement period, they’ll be grouped into a single 6-month Interest Free balance for the period.
Things You Need to Know

Viewing your current 6 Months Interest Free balances: You can view your active plans in:
- The Latitude App or Latitude Service Centre under the My Plans tab
- Your statement under the Interest Free section

Minimum Monthly Payments: You’ll still need to make your minimum monthly credit card payment as displayed on your statement.
Important: Only making your minimum monthly credit card payment may not fully pay the balance of your 6 Months Interest Free before it expires. Any remaining amount at expiry will be charged interest at the standard general Purchase Rate. Refer to your account statement for more information. -
Purchases not yet on 6 Months Interest Free: If you've made an eligible purchase that hasn't yet been added to a 6 Months Interest Free plan and you have a direct debit in place for Full or Modified Closing Balance, the purchase might be included in your upcoming payment. To setup a 6 Months Interest Free plan for this purchase:
- Review your statement to confirm whether the purchase amount is included in your Modified Closing Balance.
- If it is, promptly set up the 6 Months Interest Free payment plan through the Latitude App or Latitude Service Centre.
- Once the plan is successfully converted (allow one business day), call us so we can adjust your direct debit amount accordingly.
- Payments, Credits or Refunds: Any payments, credits or refunds can reduce your overall general purchase balance. This may not allow you to receive the 6 Month Interest Free on the total general purchase amount you previously selected.
Having Trouble with the 6 Months Interest Free Feature

Can’t see this feature on the app: Check the following first:
- Your Latitude Gem Visa or Latitude GO Platinum Mastercard is active and linked to your Latitude App.
- Your Latitude App is the latest version.
- Latitude Gem Visa customers: This feature only applies to accounts approved on or after 15 October 2025 or if you have agreed to vary your terms.
- If everything looks correct and the feature still isn’t showing, contact us for support.

Can’t see eligible purchases in the app? This can happen if:
- You haven’t made a $250 or more on general purchase in the last 30 days.
- The transaction is still pending – you’ll need to wait until it’s posted.
