We have received reports of phone scams where fraudsters call pretending to be from Latitude’s fraud team.
These scammers often warn of suspicious activity on credit card accounts and share detailed information about the alleged transactions to appear credible. They may also attempt to trick customers into revealing a one-time verification code sent via SMS or email, allowing them to gain access to the customer's online account or carry out fraudulent transactions.
What should I do?
If you receive a call claiming to be from Latitude’s fraud team, and they ask for sensitive information like your credit card number, expiration date, CVV, online account password, or a one-time passcode from SMS or email, hang up immediately.
Latitude will never request this type of information from customers. If you need assistance, contact us using the number found on the back of your card or through our official website. Do not use any contact details or links provided by the caller.
Remember – don’t click on any links or share personal information if the contact was unsolicited. Should you have shared any personal details or responded to such a scam, please contact Latitude right away.
