Setting Up Your Direct Debit
The easiest (and quickest) way to pay off your credit card is with a monthly direct debit.
You can choose whether to pay a set amount, the monthly minimum or the full closing balance and on your due date each month your payment will automatically happen!
How do I set up a direct debit on the Latitude App?
To set up a direct debit on the Latitude App, you need to have the App downloaded on your device. Find out more here!
Follow the steps below to get you direct debit Set up!
- Log into the Latitude App and tap on the account you want to set your direct debit up for.
- Tap on the menu on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Tap on the Set up direct debit option from the menu.
- Tap the Set up direct debit request.
- Select the amount you wish to pay; you can choose to set up your direct debit for the following amounts.
- Minimum monthly payment
- Full statement closing balance OR
- Fixed amount (for Latitude GEM Visa and Latitude GO Mastercard)
- Follow the prompts to confirm your payment details. You’ll need your personal bank account number and the BSB number, which is used to identify an account's Bank, State and Branch. You can find your BSB and account number on the front page of your account statement issued by your financial institution. You can also find your BSB and account number in your financial institution's internet banking. The first six digits are your BSB number, and the remaining ones are your account number.
- Review details of your direct debit request and confirm by tapping I agree on the Terms and Conditions.
- A confirmation screen should display, scroll to the bottom and tap

Maintaining Your Direct Debit

- Log into the Latitude App and tap on the account that you wish to update your direct debit
- Tap on the menu on the top right-hand corner of the screen
- Tap on the direct debit option from the menu
- Apply your changes to either amount or bank details
- Review details of your direct debit request and confirm by tapping I agree on the Terms and Conditions.
- A confirmation screen should display, scroll to the bottom and tap the confirm button
You have successfully updated your direct debit!
Cancelling Your Direct Debit
Direct debits are the easiest way to pay off your credit card, but if your income is reduced, getting control over your money is important.
How do I cancel a direct debit?
You can cancel your direct debits in the Latitude App or the online form below.

Using the Latitude App to cancel a Direct Debit is quick and simple. First, you need to have the App downloaded on your device. Find out more here!
- Log in to the Latitude App and tap on the account you want to set your direct debit up for.
2. Tap on the menu on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
3. To cancel their direct debit, tap on the Set up direct debit option from the menu.
4. Tap the Set up direct debit request button.
5. Tap the Cancel direct debit button.
6. Scroll down and Tap on the Cancel direct debit button
7. A confirmation screen will appear, tap on the Done button.
