When you shop online and need to verify your identity with a One-Time Passcode (OTP), we've got you covered!
Important: Delivery of a One-Time Passcode (OTP) to the App, or via SMS, depends on the services of various 3rd parties as well as Latitude’s own internal systems. Latitude cannot guarantee 100% availability of all components upon which this service depends. If any component of the service is unavailable, transactions of this nature will be declined and cannot be completed.
Latitude now allows you to receive an OTP securely through the Latitude Mobile App and Latitude Service Centre (LSC), in addition to SMS. No need to worry about mobile network coverage anymore – if you have an internet connection, you're good to go.
Here's how it works!

- When a transaction needs verification, you'll see a prompt in the online shopping cart. You can choose to receive the OTP via SMS or through our App/LSC, whichever suits you best.
- We make sure you have the right options available based on factors like your account status and phone number validity. If you're an additional cardholder, the process remains the same – just follow the instructions provided.
- Our App and LSC make it easy to access OTP notifications, and we've included screenshots to guide you through. Plus, we're always working to make your experience smoother, with future updates allowing for better OTP management.
